Interview

Q1. Hello. Would you please introduce yourself?

Hi, I’m Mischa! I make Let’s Plays on YouTube.com/MischaCrossing and stream on Twitch.tv/MischaCrosing. I play lots of Nintendo games but plenty of different genres as well!

Q2. What was your first Animal Crossing game and what got you into the series?

I first played the original Animal Crossing on my friend’s GameCube and fell in love with the casual, life sim aspects of it. Fishing was my favorite thing to do.

The first Animal Crossing game I owned was Wild World for the DS. I loved playing it on my own interacting with my villagers and, of course, fishing. And I loved visiting my friends’ towns. We’d play WW for hours.

Q3. What in-game name do you use?

I mostly just use my first name, Mischa, when I can. Otherwise I’ll use mischacrossing.

Q4. Have you played Animal Crossing Pocket Camp? How are you enjoying it so far?

I have played a bit of it, but I want to wait for the official North American release before I get too into it. But I love what I’ve experienced so far. The graphics are amazing, and there’s so much to do. Much more than what I expected from a mobile Animal Crossing game.

Q5. Do you have a particular style of items you like in the game?

I’m a big fan of the natural style items. Anything made of wood or colored with earth tones is top tier in my book.

Q6. In the game you meet all sorts of characters. Do you have a favorite or one that sticks out to you in the series?

Out of all the villagers, Bob is my favorite. He’s such a sweet, funny, lazy purple kitty.

Out of the NPC’s, Leif has stood out the most to me. His design is utterly adorable, and I love how happy and laid back he is at all times. Plus, he sells plants, which I love. He’s perfect.

Q7. There are all sorts of in-game purchases that you can make in Pocket Camp. Have you made one?

I have not, but I’m sure I’ll be tempted to spend some money on natural furniture items once it’s officially released.

BONUS.

Please feel free to say anything in regards to yourself or the game that may not have been covered in the previous questions, any other outlet you may want to promote for your own content.

After seeing Pocket Camp, I’m very optimistic about the future of Animal Crossing. I was already hopeful, but Pocket Camp is so well done I can only imagine what content Nintendo will bring to the next entry in the Animal Crossing series, hopefully on the Switch.
