There will be a variety of trees in your town once you started the game. Some of them are fruit-bearing and some are not. There will one common fruit-bearing tree in your town, but you have an option to plant other types of fruit bearing tree. Non-fruit-bearing trees change its appearance depends on the time of year. You can get furniture, Bells or beehive by shaking it. Saplings can be purchased from Leif or on the Tortimer Island.
