Happy Home Academy will help facilitate in designing your home. Lyle will assess your home interior and give you advice on how to boost your rating. HHA will give you prizes once you reach a certain rating.

Apart from following Lyle's advice, using the same set of furniture or with the same theme will increase your rating. Placing seasonal items and positioning your furniture based on Feng Shui are other ways to get a higher rating.
Lyle will encourage you to participate in theme challenges once you've completed all of your home upgrades and have fully paid the mortgage. You can start, change the theme or end the challenge by talking to him.
